From seasoned sailors to those wanting to dip their toes in the water for the first time, the Coral Sea Academy provides training, education and networking opportunities for people in the Whitsundays with an interest in boating. By bringing together like-minded people and sharing our knowledge and experience, we hope to grow a larger and safer boating community in our region.

At the Coral Sea Academy we are passionate about motivating people to get out on the water and encouraging sustainable boating practices.

Our Better Boating series offers participants the chance to increase their knowledge and skills on a range of boating topics, from safety at sea to basic navigation. Many of our events are free and offer useful information to ensure safe and enjoyable boating experiences. We also partner with marina operator Mainstay Sailing to offer sailing and boating courses suitable for complete novices, as well as those boat owners looking to brush up on their skills.
